The 2023 Midwinter Meeting in Chicago, USA, was a premier event that brought together top-tier speakers and educators in dentistry from across the country. Now in its 158th edition, the meeting offered more than 240 CE-accredited courses, including 45 workshops led by over 120 renowned clinicians. As CDS President-Elect Dr. Michael Durbin highlighted, the diverse lineup of courses provided invaluable opportunities for dental professionals to advance their careers and enhance patient care with the latest evidence-based knowledge and practice management solutions.

In addition to its robust educational offerings, the Midwinter Meeting featured an expansive exhibition hall showcasing the latest dental products and technologies, from 3D printing and laser technologies to practice management and restorative solutions. Attendees had the chance to explore these innovations firsthand, with Dr. Durbin noting the hall’s unique mix of well-known brands and emerging companies, offering something valuable for every dental team.

The event was also a vibrant social and networking hub, featuring activities such as the Brews and Bargains happy hour, an ice cream social, networking sessions for early-career dentists, a Friday night concert headlined by Tributosaurus, and the President’s Dinner Dance.
